In Fall 2008 CCSU Engineering Department established a Research Committee to pursue the following goals: identify research areas and interests of the faculty members, facilitate research collaboration among faculty members, identify opportunity for research collaboration with local, national and international companies, governmental and non-governmental agencies, and develop an approach and methodology to get undergraduate and graduate students involved in research.

In Fall 2008  and Spring 2009  five  School of Engineering and Technology  professors  presented their research topics at the research seminars.

2009/10  research seminars are scheduled on Tuesdays: October 6, November 17, December 8, February  9, March 9,  April 13,  May 11,  12:45pm -1:30pm, in NC 22405.

Please, note that we’ll have first research seminar at 12:45 pm on Tuesday, October 6 in NC 22405.   Dr. Gates’ presentation title is: "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Rifle-launched UAV Solid Oxide Fuel Cell’s ( CT Space Grant College Consortium)".
